Bboy Lego Sam, aka Jee Lek Sam, is a young dancer from Seremban, currently residing in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, whose journey into breaking began at the age of 13. It all started when he was glued to his TV, watching music videos featuring mesmerising dancers performing gravity-defying moves like head spins, handstands, and windmills. Completely awestruck by what he witnessed, he was instantly inspired to embark on his own breaking adventure, setting the stage for a passionate and thrilling dance career.

He earned his cool nickname, “Lego Sam,” because he was a master of building imaginative creations with Lego blocks from a very early age. What’s fascinating is that this Lego wizardry actually taught him the art of creativity, which he now applies to his incredible breaking skills. He has developed impressive dance skills through competitions and mentorship from experienced local dancers. Inspired by his love for Lego, he brings creativity to his routines, captivating audiences. Despite doubts about dancing as a career in Malaysia, he aims to open his own studio to teach the next generation of Malaysian dancers. As he prepares for his debut on the Red Bull BC One World Final stage, he’s more focused on introducing himself to the world as a dedicated Malaysian dancer than just winning. Additionally, he’s part of the Paris Olympic Qualifiers 2024, ranking 86th with 400 breaking points.
