Flaya also known as Aya is a dynamic dancer hailing from Paris, France, where he discovered his deep passion for dance and movement. Raised in a family filled with talented contemporary dancers and capoeira masters, he was surrounded by the world of dance from a very early age. His British mother and Brazilian father instilled in him the belief that pursuing what brings joy is a worthy endeavour.
Bboy Flaya’s journey into movement started with gymnastics, which he pursued until the age of 12. Subsequently, he transitioned to Capoeira, laying the foundation for his future breaking career. Despite facing initial challenges, his determination and perseverance led him to embark on his breaking journey at the age of 15. He also takes on the role of a DJ and in the 2024 Paris Olympics Qualifications List, he holds the 261st rank with 100 breaking points.
