The Floorriorz is an 11-member breaking group from Tokyo, Japan which was founded in 2010. They won the Battle of the Year three times in a row in 2015, 2016 and 2017.

The Floorriorz Facts:

Floorriorz is a breaking crew from Tokyo, Japan. It was formed by Bboy Nori in 2010 because all the members were competitive and dreamt of winning the world championship.

Initially, they started dancing out of interest, but as they grew older, they felt the need for additional income to support themselves.

However, if they followed the typical Japanese office job, they wouldn’t have time for dancing. So, they decided to become full-time dancers and B-boys, focusing on dance and hip-hop as their way of life.

They have become legendary for winning three consecutive championships at the world-breaking competition “Battle of the Year”.

The crew is currently led by Bboy Taisuke, who is already well-known in the global B-boy community.

Their motto is to preserve the B-boy foundation and tradition while pushing it to new heights.

They are known for their music, precise footwork, and powerful moves that showcase each member’s unique style. In recent years, The Floorriorz have been actively involved in training the next generation and creating successors. They have started “The Floorriorz Academy” with a focus on nurturing and developing young talent.

Bboy Taisuke

Bboy Taisuke Facts:

Bboy Taisuke joined the Floorriorz crew in 2010 after 12 years of breaking. Notably, in 2011, he made history as the first Japanese dancer to win the solo battle world championship, as well as leading his team The Floorriorz to victory in three consecutive years, another unprecedented achievement. with over 50 wins both in Japan and abroad. Bboy Nori

Bboy Nori Facts:

Bboy Nori is the founder of The Floorriorz crew and his journey in dancing began at the age of 16, when he witnessed a dance battle between comedians Takashi Okamura and Gori on a TV program. Since then, he has achieved numerous titles in both Japan and the world championships, including the remarkable accomplishment of winning three consecutive Boty titles with his crew, The Floorriorz. Bboy Katsuya

Bboy Katsuya Facts:

Bboy Katsuya is originally from Kumamoto, Japan, but currently resides in Kawasaki-shi, Kanagawa, Japan. He discovered his passion for dancing at the young age of 9, while he was a fourth-grade student. While he does not have a specific favorite move, he particularly enjoys power moves, footwork, and locks. He dedicates 4-5 practice sessions every week to honing his skills. Apart from being in The Floorriorz crew, he also teaches dance in Team 3T.

Bboy Nicolas

Bboy Nicolas Facts:

Bboy Nicolas was born in Hawaii but now resides in Japan. He began his journey in breaking in 2012 and impressively earned a spot in the renowned The Floorriorz crew after just four years of dancing experience. Beyond his passion for breaking, he is also a model, dance instructor, and YouTuber.

He played an instrumental role in securing three consecutive victories at the esteemed Battle of the Year from 2015 to 2017. Additionally, he emerged victorious in the 2023 Red Bull BC One Cypher Japan competition.

Bboy Toshiki

Bboy Toshiki Facts:

Bboy Toshik shares a close bond with his cousin, Bboy Taisuke who is also a part of the Floorriorz crew. Not only were they born on the same day, but they also grew up together in their hometown, and most importantly, both got into breaking through their sisters, who were Bgirls and also part of the same crew.

Both Toshiki and Taisuke started their breaking journey at the young age of eight, inspired by their talented sisters. Bboy Toshiki’s skills as a Bboy have led him to compete in the Japanese qualifier. Although he showcased his incredible talent, he unfortunately lost in the quarterfinals to B-Boy Dragon.

Bgirl Ram

Bgirl Ram Facts:

Bgirl Ram is a member of the Floorriorz crew and her main teacher is Bboy Nori. Her biggest achievement in her career was winning two gold medals at the 2018 Youth Games in Buenos Aires. Bboy Ryoga

Bboy Ryoga Facts:

Bboy Ryoga is a member of the Floorriorz crew whose passion for breaking arose from his family’s involvement in dance, prompting him to start at the early age of 5. Throughout his journey, he has achieved remarkable success, including victories at various events such as the JDSF Breaking Block Championship Kanto Koshinetsu Block-Youth BBOY and the GOODFOOT 10th anniversary jam.

His exceptional performance at the All Japan Breaking Championship in February 2023 earned him the honor of being selected as a breaking athlete for that year. With his talent and promise, he is set to play a significant role in shaping the future of the breaking world, solidifying himself as a noteworthy dancer.

Bboy Steez

Bboy Steez Facts:

Bboy Steez was born and raised in Japan, although his upbringing is predominantly Japanese, his family holds a Belgian connection through his grandfather, making him 1/4 Belgian and 3/4 Japanese by blood. Despite this, he has only visited Belgium once in his life. Bboy Steez had a passion for soccer throughout his school years, playing the sport until he reached high school.

However, his older sister’s influence as a dancer led him to explore a different path. Coincidentally, both his sister and a renowned breakdancer named Katsu1 attended the same high school, which became the stepping stone for Bboy Steez’s ventures into the world of breaking. From then on, he continued to breaking. Apart from being in the Floorriorz crew, he is also a member of the Take Notice Crew.

Bboy Wata

Bboy Wata Facts:

Bboy Wata is a senior member of the crew, the Floorriorz, and also works as a dedicated health and physical education teacher at Ikubunkan Yume Gakuen Junior and Senior High School in Bunkyo Ward, Tokyo. He is recognized for his authentic and straightforward approach to breaking. He seamlessly combines fluid movements and impressive skills, incorporating various elements such as top rock, footwork, and freezes into his performances, all perfectly happening with the music.
