Bboy Casper

Bboy Casper was born in Canada but currently resides in Denver, Colorado. His talent has allowed him to work alongside some of the top performers in the business on stage, in numerous films, and television shows. Casper, who was up on the outskirts of Vancouver, Canada, started taking dancing more seriously and thinking about pursuing it professionally when he was just 14 years old. A later documentary about Break Boys, a group of elite street dancers, was filmed as a result of his early success at the time.

He has lived alone since the age of 16 and learned how to cook himself. He also do bartending to pay the bills. He also has a student named ‘Charlie’ a 9 year old whom he teaches breaking. He is married to B-Girl Sophy Smokes and he is currently a chef and owns an Irish restaurant.

Titles & Achievements:

On the set of the cult dance film Honey, featuring the one and only Jessica Alba, Casper made his big-screen debut in 2003. Bboy Casper was one of the many skilled dancers that helped the movie become a worldwide hit. He returned for the follow-up, Honey II, in 2011, this time as a freestyle dancer. The breakdancer’s most well-known role is probably that of Cole in the dance film Kickin’ It Old Skool from 2007, in which he also performed as a dance double.

The following year, Bboy Casper had the opportunity to perform on stage and in front of the camera alongside fellow Canadian icon Avril Lavigne for her The Best Damn Tour-Live in Toronto documentary. He served as the main dancer for the cherished Disney cartoon The Princess and the Frog in 2009. Bboy Casper participated in 6 episodes of the dance series The LXD: The Legion of Extraordinary Dancers from 2010 to 2011 as Peetie AKA Fangz. In 2014, he joined Step Up, a hugely popular dance franchise, as the Grim Knight Dancer in their episode Step Up All In. The Break Boys documentary was produced and released in 2016.
