Bboy Kid Colombia was born in Ipiales, Colombia and currently lives in Den Haag, Netherlands. He got adopted from Colombia to his now parents at the age of 3. His adopted father wanted him to play soccer, however his interest developed into dancing.

He embarked on his journey in the world of dance at a tender age of 4 when he began showdancing. However, it was at the age of 6, inspired by the movie “Stomp The Yard,” that he discovered breakdancing and felt compelled to try it himself. Without any formal training, he fearlessly participated in the Dutch Open breakdance competition and achieved an impressive second place.

Following that notable experience, he decided to take breakdance lessons at the Haags HipHop Centrum, further honing his skills and passion for the art form.

Bboy Kid Colombia doesn’t listen to typical breaking music, opting instead for genres like UK garage, house, drum & bass, and a lot of trap music. When he began his journey in breaking, old school hip-hop music was commonly heard. While he acknowledges its greatness and respects it, after the initial three years, it became somewhat monotonous for him, lacking the energy he sought. For him, the intensity of the song and beat directly correlates to the dynamism of his dance, leading him to constantly explore music with an exhilarating and unconventional sound.

Bboy Kid Colombia expresses a preference for having more trap music played at breaking battles.
