Bboy CICO was born in Germany in 1984 and lived there intermittently between 1992 and 2002. He began B-boying in 1995, and the Spinkings crew currently counts him among their number. He personally finds inspiration for his dancing moves in comic book superhero movies like The X-Men, Fantastic 4, Spiderman, and Daredevil, as well as in competitive sports like Motocross, Formula One, and Freestyle ECC. “My style is to be fast!” he emphasizes. He wants to be himself and face his opponent in the eyes while he is on the battlefield. He enjoys playing games with the audience to get their attention.
The “Prince of Power,” Italian dancer Mauro Peruzzi alias CICO, is known for his mastery of the most explosive power movements in the B-Boy dance genre. When Bboy CICO was first exposed to power moves, he recalled, “One day I caught a glimpse of something rotating in the distance. I soon approached out of curiosity and was astounded by what I saw. On the brisk pavement, a person was spinning like a vortex. Then I thought, “Incredible! He’s flying, which is against every rule of nature. My heart began to race, and my palms began to perspire. My breath seemed to be taken away at that particular instant by something: a burning desire to learn how to fly, as well as the conviction to do so.
