Bboy Rush Biography, Life Story, Breaking Journey, and Facts:

Bboy Rush was born in Ulsan and resides in Uijeongbu, South Korea. In 2002, when Rush was just 15 and attending middle school in Ulsan, he made a significant change in his life by moving to Uijeongbu. During this transition, he developed a close bond with B-Boy Flex and found himself drawn to the art of b-boying, which he eagerly started learning from Flex.

The following year, in 2003, Bboy Rush decided to join the Gambler Crew for its second season. Initially, he and B-Boy Flex went to the TIP Crew audition together, but Flex quickly left after joining, and Bboy Rush followed suit to stay with his friend. Subsequently, they both tried out for the Gambler Crew and were successfully accepted into the second season.

As they became active members of the Gambler Crew, Bboy Rush’s talent and dedication to b-boying shone through, culminating in a victory at BOTY 2004. This triumph marked a turning point for Flex, as he decided to leave the Gambler Crew and take on a new role as the leader of Fusion MC. Meanwhile, Rush opted to remain with the Gambler Crew, continuing to pursue their shared passion for b-boying, albeit on separate paths.

During the early days of his involvement in b-boy activities, Bboy Rush went by the nickname ‘B-Boy Dotori’. This name was bestowed upon him because of his friend’s pendant, which resembled an acorn with eyes, nose, and mouth, and had a striking resemblance to Rush.

However, as time went on and Rush joined the Gambler Crew, he earned a new nickname, ‘Rush’, given to him by senior b-boy Ssun. B-Boy Ssun believed that this name perfectly suited Rush’s dynamic and energetic moves on the dance floor. It was a fitting choice, considering Rush’s exceptional mastery of powerful and advanced techniques, showcasing his remarkable skill and talent in the realm of b-boying.

Bboy Rush’s MBTI type is ESFJ, and he has a diverse set of hobbies, including boxing and indulging in humor and gags. Among the Gambler Crew members, he stands out as the most skilled player in table tennis.

When it comes to fragrances, his favorite is the refreshing scent of Clean Warm Cotton Soap, which brings a sense of comfort and cleanliness. Regarding food, Rush has a wide-ranging palate, enjoying dishes such as snow crab, meat, sushi, pura chicken, and chili mayo chicken. He also has a liking for coffee, as long as it’s not too acidic. When it comes to drinks, he appreciates two bottles of soju. Additionally, he particularly enjoys indulging in hotel breakfasts, making them a favorite part of his culinary experiences.

Moreover, Bboy Rush is currently holding a professorship for School of “Performing Arts Department of Dance Arts” Major in “Practical Dance” at Seokyeong University. He is also prepping to appear in Paris Olympics 2024. He currently holds a spot at 369 with 50 points.
