Bgirl Honokaa was born and raised in Chiba, Japan. Her journey into the world of dance began in childhood, with the influence of her parents, who were passionate salsa dancers. Her early exposure to jazz ignited her love for movement, paving the way for her exploration of various dance forms, including hip-hop.

Initiating her breaking journey in the fourth grade of elementary school, she faced initial challenges with technique, feeling disheartened when unable to master certain moves. However, with unwavering support from her parents, who provided additional training at home.

It was during this exploration that she encountered the windmill move, taught by her instructor, which ultimately led her to the world of breaking. As a junior high school student, Her dedication to breaking deepened when she attended a training camp hosted by Bboy Nori and STEEZ of The Floorriorz. Inspired and eager to learn more, she joined the academy and, from that point onward, The Floorriorz members became her mentors and trainers.

Influenced by the success of Bgirl RAM-chan, a first-generation crew member, and inspired by Bgirl Yuika from her generation, she has developed a dance style deeply connected to music. Her musical palette extends beyond breakbeats, encompassing jazz, classical, J-POP, and Western music. Moreover, she holds a commendable 117th rank with 272 breaking points in the 2024 Paris Olympics Qualifications List.
