Bgirl Isis Biography, Life Story, Breaking Journey, and Facts:
As a child growing up in Guayaquil, Ecuador, Bgirl Isis used to wake up at 4am to catch the early bus from the northern to the southern part of her city for school. Her educational pursuits included 12 years of ballet training, two years of contemporary dance, and participation in theater classes. These endeavors necessitated a significant amount of travel. She explains that she would travel in pursuit of her passions, which cultivated a mindset of determination to pursue her desires.
At the age of 18 in 2013, Bgirl Isis stumbled upon breaking and quickly developed a deep affection for it. She sees breaking as a form of rebellion against her previous involvement in ballet and her family’s expectations. Merely five months into her first year of breaking, she achieved a victory in a competition that awarded her a trip to a major event in Colombia. This marked her first experience of traveling for breaking, and the impressive skills exhibited by the Colombian B-Girls at the event inspired Isis to intensify her training efforts.
Colombian B-Boys frequently journeyed to Ecuador, offering Bgirl Isis advice to participate in more international competitions to enhance her abilities. Following their counsel, Isis made a decision to visit three different countries annually to refine her skills. Engaging in competitions throughout Latin America and making frequent visits to join battles in the United States, Bgirl Isis was spurred by the limited global recognition of Ecuadorian breakers. She aspired to change this narrative, aiming to become one of the first Ecuadorian breakers to achieve international acclaim. She is also preparing to appear in the Paris Olympics 2024 and currently ranks at 43 spot with 700 points.
