Bgirl Kami is a breaker originally from Île-de-France, France. Her journey into hip-hop culture during the 1990s in northern France where breakers were scarce.

However, she followed her passion and moved to Paris, initially joining a dance company as a popper. Despite her heart’s desire to break, she hesitated, thinking it might be too late to start.

At the age of 26, she made a bold decision to pursue her dreams without regrets. Embarking on her breaking journey, she dedicated a year to intense practice and hard work. The results were remarkable, marked by an impressive streak of 13 consecutive victories, including clinching the French Bgirls championship. Her success continued with three French championship titles, a victory at the Unbreakable 7 Smoke World Championship, and a second-place finish in the Battle of the Year World Championship.

She made history by becoming the first Bgirl to win the BBF qualification for the French championship in the Bboy category. Beyond her accomplishments in competition, she has showcased her choreography skills as part of her crew, Yeah Yellow. As breaking gains recognition as a new Olympic discipline, Bgirl Kami holds the 119th rank with 262 breaking points in the 2024 Paris Olympics Qualifications List.
