Bgirl Sushma is a talented breakdancer from Bangalore, India. She started breaking about six to seven years ago during a college dance show practice when she spotted some guys doing cool moves in a park and decided to join in. The early days weren’t a walk in the park for her and her crew as they had no experienced teachers, just a bunch of beginners figuring it out together. However, they stuck with it, practised hard, and got better.

Bgirl Sushma’s family was all about education. At first, they didn’t know what breaking was, but when she explained it to them, they had her back and only let her keep breaking if she aced her studies. So, her daily routine included morning practices, college all day, more park sessions, and hitting the books late into the night. She wasn’t just a rocking Bgirl; she was also acing her classes.

As time went on, her family saw that she could handle both breaking and studying and that’s when they became her biggest fans. She’s putting in the work, training five to six hours every single day. It’s not just a hobby for her; it’s a lifestyle. She is at 158th rank with 150 breaking points in the 2024 Paris Olympics Qualifications List.
