Bgil Maessone, also known as Maessane Cherine Amel Boumedjane, hails from Algeria. She started breaking at a very young age when she saw the famous Flying Steps crew in a music video. At the time, she was looking for a unique form of art to become passionate about, and she immediately knew it would be breaking. She wants to be dynamic and swift, like a ninja when she breaks and draws inspiration for her style from martial arts and numerous Algerian breakers.
Outside of breaking, she studies and works full-time as a nurse for elderly people with dementia, but breaking is her sanctuary, in which she finds the most joy and peace. She is also part of the Paris Olympic qualifiers 2024 with 56 place and 650 breaking points.
