Bgirl Jess Biography, Life Story, Breaking Journey, and Facts:
Bgirl Jess began her journey in highly competitive gymnastics at the age of 5 and started competing in rhythmic gymnastics throughout Catalonia by age 12. At 18, she transitioned to “Tumbling,” training for the World Cup while also preparing for the Miss Fitness event. However, her path changed at 20 when she discovered bboying on the subway, instantly falling in love with the culture.
In 2002, she began her career as a dancer, working in theater, musicals, shows, and performances, and joining companies such as Rafael Amargo’s flamenco troupe. Today, she teaches dance at various schools and civic centers to promote and cultivate this culture. She also performed with the Blanca Li company in the show “MACADAM MACADAM” (2011-2013) and worked with Cirque du Soleil on the “VAREKAI” tour (2013-2015).
She has become a certified national judge for Breaking FEBD and Breaking for Gold. She has judged several events including Olympic Qualifier Series Budapest, Breaking FIDS Absolute Championships, WDSF Asian Breaking Championships, Pan American Breaking Championships, and WDSF Breaking Continental Championships Africa.
