Bboy El Nino, hails from Boston, Massachusetts, USA, and has cultural ties to both Dominican and Puerto Rican backgrounds. His journey in the world of dance began in 1996, adopting his B-Boy name inspired by the global weather event of 1997-98, El Niño. His introduction to breaking, however, came from his crew and family, as many of the men in his family were also B-Boys.
Bboy El Nino’s journey into the world of Hip Hop was deeply influenced by his uncles, Leanski and Noz. They played a significant role in shaping not only his life but also that of his siblings, instilling in them a sense of integrity and admiration for their uncles. The two uncles were immersed in various elements of Hip Hop; they were skilled DJs, breakers, and even dabbled in Writing and rapping.
