Bboy Choky Biography, Life Story, Breaking Journey, and Facts:

Bboy Choky, also known as Victor Alfonso Custodio Pabon, grew up in Bayamón after originating from Ponce. He found solace in dancing, specifically breaking, at the age of 14, using it to steer clear of fights with his schoolmates. Breaking, a type of dance born in New York City, was also cherished by Choky’s father and his pals, even though they often faced trouble with the police, who misjudged them as gang members. His uncle, Jorge Pabón, or “Popmaster Fabel,” was a trailblazer in the world of breaking with the Rock Steady Crew in New York, contributing significantly to the dance’s signature moves.

Choky’s father and uncle served as his role models, introducing him to the art form, which he aspires to enhance further. Currently, he is under the mentorship of Fernando Amador, also known as “Flexnando,” who guides him in his breaking journey. Breaking performances involve various elements, including top rock, down rock, power moves, and freezes. He is also part of the Paris Olympic Qualifiers 2024, with a 115th ranking and 310 breaking points.
