Bboy Victor Biography, Life Story, Breaking Journey, and Facts:

Bboy Victor was born in Orlando, Florida and his hometown is in Kissimmee, Florida. He graduated highschool from Gateway High School and currently lives in Los Angeles. His father was also a Bboy in Mexico and his father and cousin taught him the art of breaking. He started breaking at the age of 6 and at the age of 11, he began practicing for breaking more seriously. His mother and brother thought he was going to be a nobody because of his interest in Bboying. Victor used to be a Krumper which is kinda mixture of American-African street dance.

Victor had his first battle at the age of 14 and his father paid around $500 to secure a passport for him in order to have him participate in the IBE competition in the Netherlands. He won first place in Red Bull BC One Tampa Cypher in 2011 at the age of 14. Bboy Victor was invited to the Red Bull BC One Cypher finals in Chicago which he won. He doesn’t mind losing because it motivates him to do better. However, he went first in every battle of the Red Bull BC One World Final 2022.

Bboy Victor got his first breakthrough in 2014 when he won a battle in France and then in Taiwan. He believes that there are two sides to breaking that is battling and culture. He gets hyped by the track Onyx’s ‘Slam’ and describes his style as powerful, explosive, energetic, and smooth. His style was influenced by Bboy Thunder and Bboy evo mad nico. His top five Bboys include Ken Swift, Megus, Crazy legs, Evo, and Swift Rock. His favorite artists are big I, lord finesse, and tribe called quest. Victor has been working to get into the real estate business and has bought a house for his family with his earnings in Kissimmee. Bboy Victor had a documentary made about him namely ‘Remember the Name: Victor Montalvo’. His wife Kate is also a B-Girl. He enjoys cycling, fitness, and boxing and likes to eat Japanese pizza with fried squid, jerk chicken enchilada and Thai food. Bboy Victor used to be called ‘Vicious Victor’ because of his unique and diverse style of breaking. He is all set to medal in the Olympics Games 2024 in Paris, France having 1700 points and 8th rank in the Olympic qualifier list.

TRAINING DRILLS

Victor trains for 2-4 hours daily and does biking, calisthenics, and running to stay in shape. Victor loves to train by boxing and Muay Thai.

Bboy Victor does 10 reps of 1 minute intense peddling on the bike with 30 seconds interval in each rep.

Calisthenics:

He does 100 dips, 100 push-ups, 100 sit-ups and sometimes another 20 dips in the morning.

Breaking:

– He does 3 reps for a 1 minute breaking with 30 seconds break in each rep.
