Bboy Shade is a breaker hailing from Gunma Prefecture, Japan. At the age of nine, he harboured dreams of becoming a ballet dancer and was serious about joining a local academy. However, fate took a turn at the age of 15 when he encountered breaking for the first time, sparking a transformative decision to become a bboy.

He was captivated by the mesmerising movements of breaking that seemed almost surreal. The shock he initially felt turned into a passionate pursuit, encouraging him to become one of the top breakers in Japan.

Armed with teaching degrees from Gunma University, he joined the Ariya Crew after completing his education. His dance style is a distinctive fusion of power moves, footwork, and freezes, infused with the sensibilities cultivated in classical ballet dance.

Regarding preferences, he has a soft spot for sushi, while potatoes fall on the opposite end of his preference. In the 2024 Paris Olympics Qualifications list, he stands at an impressive 108 rank with 380 breaking points.
