Bgirl Bar-B Biography, Life Story, Breaking Journey, and Facts:

Bar-B was born in Mumbai, India and comes from a lower middle class family. Her mother is a teacher and her father was a ward boy in a hospital. She used to live in the western suburb slum in Mumbai before moving to a one room apartment in Bandra. She used to dance to bollywood songs when she was little and started breaking at the age of 10. Her mother enrolled her in a dance academy named ‘3D Dance Academy’ in Mumbai where she learned dancing from her academy teachers Santosh and Shubham (Source: cnbctv18).

She gives credit to her mother Sneha for her immense support but her father was not very supportive of her decision to dance. Her former moniker was B-Girl Sid and her name ‘Bar-B’ was given to her by her crew mates. She trains for 3 hours a day and admires B-Boy Menno.  Bar-B thinks B-Girl Jo island and B-Girl Sumku are the strongest. She has a Welspun woman programme scholarship and was studying for a Bachelor of Science in Botany and Chemistry and plans on doing a Master of Science in the future. She hopes to represent India in the Olympic Games 2024 and has a rank of 217 with 50 points on the Olympic qualifier list.
