Bgirl SashaFox was born and raised in Moscow, Russia and immigrated to Canada in 2013. She started breaking at the age of 17 with several crews and at the “Volnorez” breaking school. SashaFoxx found her inspiration to pursue breaking after being captivated by a Nike commercial that showcased actress and dancer Sofia Boutella. Motivated by the artistry and energy of breaking, she dedicated herself to the dance form.
In Calgary, Bgirl SashaFox hones her skills at various training spots, but she also takes on a mentorship role by hosting a B-Girl 101 class at Pulse Studios. In this class, she imparts her knowledge and expertise to aspiring b-girls, guiding them through the essential fundamentals of breaking.
Her commitment to coaching and supporting the next generation of b-girls reflects her passion for the dance form and her desire to foster a thriving breaking community. She’s been preparing to participate in the Paris Olympics 2024 and currently ranks at 43 spot with 700 points.
