The BreakinMIA is a 7-member breaking group from Miami, South Florida, that was founded in 2017. They won the Serial Kickerz Battle in 2023.

BreakinMIA was established in Miami, Florida, for breaking culture and education. It is a breaking school with a team of six bboys and one bgirl. When Bboy Zeku was 18 years old, he made the decision to contribute to his city and community by opening up BreakinMIA.

He felt that his responsibility is to provide the generations after him with a safe and professional environment where they can be properly educated on the positive core values of breaking.

The team at BreakinMIA has always carried themselves in a professional manner, maintaining a positive and sophisticated environment for everyone to pursue the art of breaking. The main goal of this team is to inspire and motivate the younger generations.

Bboy Zeku Facts:

Bboy Zeku is the founder of BreakinMIA and was raised by a single parent alongside his older brother. His determination and technique caught the attention of the famous “Future Force” crew, which recognized his talent. Accepting the crew’s motto of determination and discipline, he learned that in the world of breaking, fighting ought to be kept away at all costs, advancing a positive and supportive community. Bboy Trunks Facts:

Bboy Trunks, aka Douglas Pena, hails from Miami, Florida. He is the general manager of BreakinMIA and also a member of the Monsterz Energy Crew.

Bboy Fuzion Facts:

Bboy Fuzion is also known as Franklin Novo. He is the creative director of the Crew. He takes on the job of creating all of the flyers, logos, and designs for all of the events for the crew. 

4. Bgirl La Makina

Bgirl La Makina Facts:

Bgirl La Makina, aka Sonja, hails from Miami, Florida. At just 16, Sonja La Makina became Daddy Yankee’s youngest professional dancer, revolutionizing the world with reggaeton and Perreo. She is the brand strategist for BreakinMIA Crew. As a singer, songwriter, dancer, creative director, and producer, Bgirl La Makina consistently pushes the limits of innovation. Her extraordinary work ethic and dedication have earned her numerous accolades in film, TV, web, and music, solidifying her position as a true trailblazer in the industry.

5. Bboy Nelzwon

Bboy Nelzwon Facts:

Bboy Nelzwon, aka Yonell Damata, hails from Miramar, Florida. He has many years of battle and breaking experience, having taken part in the most famous competitions like Freestyle Sessions, BC One Cyphers, etc. He has been working as the head instructor at BreakinMIA Crew for over two years.

6. Bboy Links

Bboy Links Facts:

Bboy Links is the head instructor of the Crew and also represents the Future Force Crew and Full Force Crew. He started breaking in February 2017, when he was a student in high school. He was a shy person who never talked to anybody, so he had a lot of emotions, ideas, thoughts, and energy and made it what art to him. He wanted to make something out of this dance, but he is still figuring it out. For now, though, he wants to keep growing and get nasty. He has great talent and won the Red Bull BC One Cypher Orlando in 2023.
