The Tsunami All Stars is an 18-member breaking crew from São Paulo, Brazil which was founded in 2005. They won the Battle of the Year Brazil in 2008.

Tsunami All Stars Facts:

Tsunami All Stars is a breaking crew from Brazil and has made regular appearances on various TV shows such as Manos e Minas, Dance Dance Dance, Faustao, and Legendarios. They also participated in the inaugural season of the talent show Qual É o Seu Talento? on SBT, reaching the finals before losing to D-Efeitos. They frequently compete in crew battles, including international events like R16 Korea, and have been featured on the program Tudo é Possível on Rede Record.

The creation of Tsunami All Stars emerged from a need for a strong crew to compete in a São Paulo event. At the time, Kokada was without a crew, Pelezinho was performing with Marcelo D2, and Catatau was similarly unattached. They, along with Aranha and Chaverinho, who often substituted for each other during Marcelo D2’s shows, decided to form a crew for the competition. Their collaboration led to victory, and the friendship continued to grow, especially during their regular meetups in São Paulo. The crew solidified when they received an invitation to compete in the R16 competition in Korea. With the addition of Neguin, White, and Chuchu, the Tsunami All Stars were born, and they quickly made a mark by becoming finalists in the R16.

Bboy Endrigo Facts:

Bboy Endrigo is a two-time Brazilian Breaking Champion, having won the Battle of the Year Brazil twice. He is a dancer, actor, and member of Tsunami All Stars, and has been featured in campaigns for Coca-Cola, Sony, Samsung, Skol, and Tim. He played Emerson Xavier in the soap opera “Dance, Dance, Dance” on Rede Bandeirantes and appeared on the Legendários Program on Rede Record and the Dança Gatinho segment on Rodrigo Faro’s Program.

With extensive experience as a Bboy and Street Artist, he now focuses on National Breaking Education and Decriminalization. One of his career highlights was performing at the opening ceremony of the Rio Olympics in 2016.

Bboy Pelezinho Facts:

Bboy Pelezinho comes from a family of samba dancers and capoeiristas. His childhood was filled with music, family gatherings, and the strong influence of his grandmother, who raised him. His first encounter with breakdance happened through a friend who introduced him to the culture. He was inspired by several figures in the breakdance community. Notably, B-Boy Remind from the Style Elements Crew left a lasting impression on him. 

His involvement with the Tsunami All Stars and Red Bull BC One All Stars further cemented his status. Regarding the Red Bull BC One All Stars, he participated in two international tours for Red Bull in 2008 and 2009, covering Australia and India. These tours inspired the idea of forming a team within Red Bull. Alongside Bboy Lilou and a manager, he helped create the Red Bull All Stars Project, which is now recognized as one of the best teams globally, featuring top dancers from around the world. Although he has since retired from the competition circuit, he remains proud of his contributions to the team’s formation.

Bboy Aranha has been practicing breaking for 21 years. He is a prominent member of Style Crew, Tsunami All Stars, and Darookies. Bboy Lukas/Luka Facts:

Bboy Lukas also known as Luka started off with soccer and capoeira where his father wanted him to practice Olympic Gymnastics. He later started breaking in late 2006 when he saw a TV report on the Red Bull BC One World Championship in Sao Paulo. He was deeply inspired by Pelézinho and Chaveirinho, bought a DVD of 2005’s Red Bull BC One, and tried to copy the moves. He officially became a member of Tsunami All Stars in 2017, where he knew the members of the crew already because he used to train with them at the invitation of Bboy Kokada with whom he lived between 2009 to 2012. Before that, he also filled in for Pelezinho due to his visa problem in 2011’s Warsaw Challenge with Tsunami.

Bboy Neguin practiced capoeira for 10 years before getting himself immersed into breaking after practicing all the elements of hip hop. Having done skateboarding, jiu-jitsu, painting, and art, he was always inspired to try new things. His career took a peak when he started working for Madonna at her MDNA tour at the age of 19. Bboy Kokada Facts:

Bboy Kokada was one of the original members of the Tsunami All Stars crew. He was known as the ‘Master of Powermoves’ and used to be an MC as well. He appeared in TV commercials such as Crystal Beer in 2008 and Embratel in 2005 and was considered the very first bboy to gain fame worldwide before the emergence of Youtube. He unfortunately died on December 21, 2012 due to meningitis.
