Bboy Benji was born in Paris but grew up win Poitiers and currently lives in Paris, France. He discovered dance by watching the video ‘You’re Crazy’ by Benny B and then the movie Breakin’ and Beat Streat. He was frequently visiting the dance halls at the of 7 thanks to an older dancer ‘Youval Ifergane’ who took him under his mentorship.

In 1997, Bboy Benji joined Division Alpha, a group he performed with at the Théâtre du Gymnase and on the set of the show Hit Machine. Gradually, the crew shifted their focus solely to battles. His fame in the United States grew after winning the World Bboy Battle in London against American dancers. He then joined Rock Force Crew, an American group, and trained with them, performed in shows, and won international battles.

In 2002, Bboy Benji caught the attention of casting directors and landed the lead role in the hip hop musical film Le Défi, directed by Blanca Li. He shared the screen with Sofia Boutella, a young dancer. The film competed at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York in 2004. During this time, he continued to challenge top dancers and participated in numerous competitions. His battles against Crumbs and Junior in 2002 are considered significant moments in the history of breakdancing. In 2004, he decided to retire from dancing, but eight years later, he made a comeback.

In 2014, he served as a judge on season 4 of the television show Dance Street, hosted by Audrey Chauveau and Fred Musa, which aired on the France Ô channel. The same year, he started a YouTube video series called The Flexible Warriors. Since then, he has been invited as a judge to various hip hop events, including Next Urban Legend in Cyprus, Blaze Master Jam in Athens, Who iz who, and Battle City Breakers at the Philharmonie de Paris.
