Bboy Heady was born in Incheon and currently is based in Bucheon, South Korea. He started breaking at the age of 15 in the second year of his middle school when he saw his classmate doing a freeze move and got instantly attracted and was able to do it in his first time. He is currently a professor for Practical Dance Arts at Hoseo Arts College in Seoul.
Hedy’s first significant performance came during the quarterfinals of the 2017 BBIC Day 3 B-Boy Battle. Bboy Heady made a lasting impression on fans of b-boying by competing on an equal footing with Junior, a famed French b-boy. Heady defeated Junior in the quarterfinals but, regrettably, fell to B-Boy Pocket in the final.
He is good at taking pictures and videos and often take videos and picture for his team. Moreover, one of his signature and self made move is ‘car accident move’. He is currently at the 340th spot in the Paris Olympic 2024 qualifier list with 50 points.
