Bboy HiJack Biography, Life Story, Breaking Journey, and Facts:

BBoy HiJack hails from Hawaii and lived in San Francisco for a while. His interest in breaking sparked in elementary school, inspired by his older brother who introduced him to the street dance style known as popping.

His brother Frankie picked it up from some homeless guys at Kaimuki Park and learned to pop. He came back with a CD from them called ‘Street Jams,’ something they found at Tower Records. He started breaking in eighth grade alongside his friends. They would assemble makeshift stages from cardboard boxes and dance to tunes played from their phones.

With a desire to support local kids passionate about street culture, he launched Keiki Breaks in 2016, where he teaches dance to kids aged 5 to 16. He is also a part of 808 Breakers, a leading breakdance crew in Hawaiʻi.
