Bboy RM is from Keelung, Taiwan. RM won the Battle of the Year Taiwan with his crew in 2019. He is a member of Dream Runnerz, Juice Crew, KGB Crew, and Hentai Unity.

Bboy RM Biography, Life Story, Breaking Journey, and Facts:

RM, a talented B-boy, describes his dancing style as trapeze-like with flips in the air. His most classic and renowned movements include the Air Chair and Power Moves. He first encountered floor dancing at the age of 14 while watching a boy group called Lollipop perform on TV. Inspired by their performance, he started practicing dance moves by himself, seeking teaching videos online.

The motivation to start dancing came from a desire to experience the feeling of flying in the air, finding it both comfortable and cool. Initially, Bboy RM and his classmates gathered at the cultural center in Keelung to practice dance moves. There, he was taught some preparatory moves. Among his inspirations, Bboy RM credits B-boy Lao Xie from Keelung for showing him the essence of ambition. He also looks up to B-boy Chen Guanglei, B-boy SAM, KGB Crew, and SBC Ah Zhong, along with foreign B-boy Lil G.

His B-boy name, RM, was inspired by his love for MM chocolate. While dancing is his passion, he envisions his future career to be one that promotes Taiwan’s Power Move trend, making it more accessible for others to learn. He aspires to excel in his craft and be unparalleled in Taiwan’s B-boy scene.

Currently teaching dance in Taipei and Keelung, RM enjoys other interests like singing, cooking, and, of course, dance. His forte lies in Power Move, but he hasn’t explored other Hip Hop elements in his personal dance steps.

With a supportive family background, Bboy RM’s father, a former baseball player, encourages his love for sports and dance. He sees the Hip Hop/B-boy scene in Taiwan as competitive but healthy, fostering strong ambitions among dancers. He believes that Taiwan has the potential to produce world champions in the future. As he looks ahead, Bboy RM envisions a life where he continues to dance, shares his passion with others, and hopes to one day introduce B-boying to his own child, fostering a new generation of B-boys and B-girls.
