Bgirl Ami was born in Kawasaki, Japan and raised in Saitama, but currently based in Kanagawa, Japan. Bgirl Ami got to know about the culture of hip-hop by her older sister at the age of 6 and developed a keen love for windmills and started breaking by the age of 10. She was trained by some of the famous Japanese B-Boys i.e B-Boy Katsu-One, B-boy Taisuke, and B-Boy Wata. Ami’s mother used to drive her at night for her to flex her moves on the top practice spots and also paid for her first trip abroad to Australia.

Ami does not want to battle against her sister B-Girl Ayu (Source: redbull). Bgirl Ami would be cooking and knitting with her mother if she was not a B-Girl. She worked at a Korean barbecue restaurant and graduated in British-American literature. Ami is someone who prefers nature and wants to have a garden when she is older. She misses her sister B-Girl Ayu, Miso soup, Oden, and her bed when she is away from home. She Her dream place to go is backpacking around Southeast Asia. She is set to be competing in the Olympic Games in 2024 and ranks 2nd with 3400 points on the Olympic qualifier list.
