One Up, hailing from France, began his journey with turntables in 2000 alongside his friends DJ Letiks and DJ Clecktik. From 2013-2014, he ventured into musical creation, and from 2015-2016, he dedicated himself entirely to dance battles.
He meticulously selects music pieces 5-6 weeks before an event, taking into account the event’s nature, location, judges, and participating breaking teams. In 2004, he trained as an educator, began lecturing in 2005, and founded the association “From Scratch” in 2009.
His discography includes several albums and mixtapes, including “HANDTALK #1 & #2,” “Heritage,” “Catch The Unique Break,” “Flow Mo Sounds,” “SUBNORMAL Break,” and “WEFUNK #1061.”
For nearly two decades, DJ One Up has graced the most prestigious hip hop events both in France and globally, performing in cities like Los Angeles, Taipei, Morocco, Chile, Portugal, and Belgium, and as part of the Olympic Games competitions in France.
